Texas Drivetrain Corvette C5 Torque Tube Heavy Duty Propeller/Input Shaft

The C5 Corvette Torque Tube Heavy Duty Propeller Input Shaft is an aftermarket replacement input/prop shaft for a C5 Corvette Torque Tube. GM doesn’t make them anymore, however, this part is slightly better because it is stronger and thicker than those made by GM.

Performance Machined

• 8620 forged steel w/ phosphate coating
• Heavy-duty 10% thicker than stock

It’s very common for the pilot bearing to wear out, causing damage to the tip of the shaft where the pilot rides. Also, the input splines can get damaged by the clutch disc.

Fits 01-04 C5 Corvette with Manual Transmission 12mm.  

This heavy-duty input shaft is made of the same 8620 alloys as GM, but it’s 10% thicker and stronger to provide the best shaft design for high-horsepower Corvettes.
