Replace a Weak or Failed LS Ignition Coil

A weak ignition coil can cause rough idle, hesitation, reduced power, poor throttle response and engine misfires. Replacing the affected coil helps restore consistent spark delivery without requiring the purchase of a complete eight-coil set.

The Granatelli Street Fighter coil uses advanced bobbin technology, a specialized magnetic-steel core and precision internal windings to produce increased spark energy and dependable ignition performance in compatible GM LS applications.

Performance Potential

Granatelli reports average gains of 6–8 horsepower on stock engines, gains of up to 12 horsepower over factory coils, and gains of up to 18 horsepower on heavily modified or forced-induction applications when using a properly matched set of performance coils. Replacing only one coil is primarily intended to restore or maintain ignition performance. Actual results vary based on the number of coils installed, vehicle, engine combination, tune and condition of the existing ignition system.
