A clean cut is essential to ensure a proper seal between -AN lines and fittings. There are many methods for cutting -AN lines. Cutting lines with an angle grinder will work, but it's messy and can result in debris making its way into the line. Using a hacksaw is also an option, but it's slow and typically flares the braids. -AN line cutting shears are the quickest, most efficient, and cleanest way to cut a braided line. Mishimoto -AN Line Cutting Shears are designed for cutting lines from -3AN up to -20AN. The long, 24-in handle length provides ample leverage for slicing braided lines straight and clean.
