Ford 6.8L V10 2V 65K Coil Pack Set – 20-1701SC - Granatelli Motor Sports
SKU: 20-1701SC
Granatelli 65kV Pro Series Xtreme Coil Pack Kit – Ford 6.8L V10 2-Valve – 20-1701SC
The 6.8L Triton V10 does the hard work: towing trailers, hauling heavy loads, pushing a motorhome up a grade. That is exactly where worn factory coils show up first, as misfires under load, a stumble when you get on it, a flashing check-engine light and lost power. The Granatelli Motor Sports 20-1701SC replaces all ten coils with 65kV Pro Series Xtreme coils, so every cylinder gets a strong, consistent spark when it's working hardest.

2-valve or 3-valve? These parts are for the Ford 6.8L V10 2-valve. If your V10 is a 3-valve, use the Granatelli 3-valve V10 part numbers (20-1813 series). Not sure? Use the Year/Make/Model search or call us at 1-805-486-6644.
Installation
Bolt-in replacement with basic hand tools. Work one cylinder at a time so the connectors stay in order. No tuning is required on a stock engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need 65kV?
If you tow heavy, haul big loads, run a motorhome or have a tune, yes. For a stock work truck, the 60kV 20-1701CP kit is plenty.
Should I replace all ten coils at once?
Yes. A V10 running a mix of old and new coils will keep misfiring on the old ones.
Will it help my motorhome?
The F53 chassis V10 works hard every mile. Fresh, high-output coils help restore power lost to weak spark on long grades.
