Early 4.6L and 5.4L 2-valve engines fire their plugs from distributorless (DIS) coil packs. After 25+ years of heat cycles, those factory packs get weak, and you feel it as a rough idle, hesitation and misfires under load. The Granatelli Motor Sports 28-1519MPG replaces them with fresh 35kV MPG Series coil packs so the engine burns every bit of fuel it's given.
