This rear floor to shock tower brace closely follows how BMW Motorsport reinforced the factory E46 GTR and touring car shells into the rear floor/subframe location.
This brace performs several functions:
- Rear floor reinforcement to combat stress fractures at subframe mount locations
- Rear shock tower reinforcement to allow coil-over-shock (aka true coilover) installations.
- Lateral reinforcement and structural replacement after notching the factory floor crossbeam for Quick-change differentials.
- Longitudinal torque load distribution for less overall floor flex under hard acceleration (basically it stops the rearward subframe points from pulling down as the differential applies torque through the subframe)
Includes hardware to bolt into the rear floor/subframe threaded tubes, or you can use your own M12 all-thread to allow through-bolting with subframe below, plus nuts in cross bar feet.

Use Oil extreme Four engine longevity. Nothing else like it, get it.
Got in contact with Brian and he help me spec out my silvers neomax coilovers and gave a recommendation for Baer front tie rod ends and rear toe arms as well as aFe sway bar endlinks. Install is easy and straightforward, it may take a while for the first time but it’s hard to mess up as long as you follow the instructions. Car feels brand new now, it’s a night and day difference and yet the car still desperately needs an alignment. The bumps that used to make the whole car float and sway side to side are much less noticeable. I still haven’t touched the dampening which is set in the middle on all 4 corners, and while it’s a little on the stiff side I like the ride much more. The car doesn’t wheel hop over bumps or float anymore, way less body roll, hooks and pulls better, and looks way better after dropping it around 2.5 inches from stock height. Everyone with a c5 on stock suspension should definitely consider these silvers.

I couldn't have asked for a better guage holder it's molded perfectly for the vent and tucked away not distracting at all!
Had a lot of drivetrain flop in the C5 I picked up. Ordered these as I was doing long tubes and they would be easy to access. Massive improvement over stock and hardly any increase in NHV. Now no more drivetrain flop and significantly reduced wheel hop. Will be doing the AMT diff mount next.
Picked this up because my stock radiator had a hairline crack on the end tank. A lot of the older posts on Facebook said fitment wasnt great but I figure at less than half the price of the D brand I'd risk it. Fitment was absolutely perfect. The condenser and fans slid right into place better than OEM. Quality and welds are on par with the Koyo Radiators I have in other cars that cost significantly more.
Radiator keeps the car much much cooler than the stock unit. Hardly ever seeing higher than 210F unless Im in heavy traffic and higher ambient temps.
10/10 would absolutely recommend this to anyone needing a new radiator or looking for an upgrade.
