Inlet Size Fitment Guide

Important: Measure the outer diameter of your exhaust pipe before ordering. The inlet size you select must match your pipe's outer diameter for a secure clamp fit. The guide below is a recommendation — always measure to confirm, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust system installed.

60mm Inlet

Some standard BMW exhaust setups. Measure to confirm fitment before ordering.

63mm Inlet — Standard Exhaust

  • 2014–2019 BMW M235i / M240i (F22 / F23)
  • 2012–2018 BMW 335i / 340i (F30 / F31)
  • 2014–2019 BMW 435i / 440i (F32 / F33 / F36)

67mm Inlet — M Performance Exhaust

  • 2014–2019 BMW M235i / M240i (F22 / F23) with M Performance Exhaust
  • 2012–2018 BMW 335i / 340i (F30 / F31) with M Performance Exhaust
  • 2014–2019 BMW 435i / 440i (F32 / F33 / F36) with M Performance Exhaust

70mm Inlet — F-Series M Cars

  • 2016–2021 BMW M2 (F87) — including Competition
  • 2014–2018 BMW M3 (F80)
  • 2014–2020 BMW M4 Coupe / Convertible (F82 / F83)
  • 2011–2016 BMW M5 (F10)
  • 2012–2018 BMW M6 Coupe / Convertible / Gran Coupe (F12 / F13 / F06)

76mm Inlet — F90 M5

  • 2018+ BMW M5 (F90)

80mm Inlet — G-Series M Cars

  • 2023+ BMW M2 (G87)
  • 2021+ BMW M3 Sedan (G80) — including Competition and xDrive

Build

  • Outer Shell: Real carbon fiber with gloss clear coat and visible 2x2 twill weave
  • Inner Core: 304 stainless steel
  • UV Protection: Heat and UV resistant clear coat
  • Attachment: Adjustable hose clamp for 60–70mm sizes, friction mount for 76–80mm sizes

Sold Individually

Each listing is for ONE exhaust tip. Most BMW M cars have four exhaust outlets — order a quantity of 4 for a complete set. Non-M cars with dual exhaust typically need 2.

Installation

Let the exhaust cool completely. Loosen the hose clamp (60–70mm sizes) or position the tip for friction fit (76–80mm sizes). Slide the tip over the factory exhaust pipe, align flush with the bumper cutout, and tighten. Standard wrench is all you need. No welding, no cutting, no permanent modification. Takes a few minutes per tip.

How to Measure Your Inlet Size

Remove your current exhaust tip if possible. Using a caliper or tape measure, measure the outer diameter of the exposed exhaust pipe — not the tip you removed, but the pipe itself. That measurement is your inlet size. If you measure 66mm, order the 67mm inlet. If you measure 69mm, order the 70mm. The adjustable clamp accommodates small variations. If you're unsure, contact us with your year, model, and exhaust setup (stock vs M Performance vs aftermarket) and we'll confirm the right size.

Aftermarket Exhaust Note

If you have an aftermarket exhaust system installed (Akrapovic, Remus, Milltek, Eisenmann, Borla, etc.), your pipe diameter may differ from the factory specs listed above. Always measure the actual pipe rather than relying on the fitment guide. Contact us if you need help confirming compatibility with your specific exhaust setup.
