Unlike Granatelli's dedicated high-temperature and Kevlar-protected wire sets, the 28-1811S provides standard/base heat protection comparable to an OEM-style spark plug wire. Its primary performance advantage is the 0-Ohm conductor design, which minimizes electrical resistance between the ignition coil and spark plug.

Standard Heat Protection: The 28-1811S provides base heat protection similar to an OEM-style spark plug wire. This is not Granatelli's upgraded high-temperature or Kevlar-boot version. If your wires will be positioned extremely close to headers or other intense heat sources, choose one of Granatelli's dedicated high-temperature wire sets instead.

The key advantage of the 28-1811S is its 0-Ohm conductor design. Conventional spark plug wires use resistance that consumes part of the electrical energy produced by the ignition coil before it reaches the plug.
