The Granatelli 28-1811S 0-Ohm High-Performance Spark Plug Wire Set is engineered for compatible GM LS & LT coil-near-plug ignition systems. The compact 8-inch boot-to-boot length helps keep coil-to-plug routing short, clean and organized without unnecessary wire slack.

Unlike Granatelli's dedicated high-temperature and Kevlar-protected wire sets, the 28-1811S provides standard/base heat protection comparable to an OEM-style spark plug wire. Its primary performance advantage is the 0-Ohm conductor design, which minimizes electrical resistance between the ignition coil and spark plug.

Standard Heat Protection: The 28-1811S provides base heat protection similar to an OEM-style spark plug wire. This is not Granatelli's upgraded high-temperature or Kevlar-boot version. If your wires will be positioned extremely close to headers or other intense heat sources, choose one of Granatelli's dedicated high-temperature wire sets instead.

The Real Upgrade: 0-Ohm Performance

The key advantage of the 28-1811S is its 0-Ohm conductor design. Conventional spark plug wires use resistance that consumes part of the electrical energy produced by the ignition coil before it reaches the plug. Granatelli's 0-Ohm technology minimizes that resistance so more of the coil's available energy can reach the spark plug.

More Available Energy From Coil to Plug

Spark plug wires do not create additional ignition energy—the ignition coil does that. A performance wire improves the path between the coil and plug. By reducing resistance, Granatelli's 0-Ohm design helps minimize energy loss and provides a more direct electrical connection to the spark plug.

8" Length for Clean Coil-to-Plug Routing

The 8-inch boot-to-boot configuration is ideal for applications where the ignition coils are mounted relatively close to the spark plugs. The shorter length helps eliminate unnecessary wire loops and keeps the engine bay looking clean, organized and purpose-built.
