3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind
FIA Performance will happily accept returns due to change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 30 days of receipt of item and are returned to us in original packaging, unused and in resalable condition.
Standard parts with no customization are subject to a 20% restocking fee at our discretion based on any/all manufacturer restocking fees.
Custom built parts/kits outside of standard parts, meaning anything that is not considered a "standard kit" by the manufacturer is considered custom parts/kits. Custom built parts may not be returned outside of any possible defects in the manufacturing process. This also applies to engines, transmission, differentials, forced induction systems etc...
Engine Management Tuners are not returnable due to the nature of credit based systems unless approved at our discretion. Some of those requirements in order for approval consideration would be the security seals are perfectly intact etc. This is also applicable to other “electronic” devices such as "check engine light" or "check suspension" light and other devices that either log and or can reprogram OEM automotive modules. If a part is classified as an electronic device, this policy is applicable to those items. Certain accommodations may be made by management in certain situations however if device has been installed or opened, no returns unless it is due to warranty replacement.
Return shipping will be paid at the customers expense and will be required to arrange their own shipping.
Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase unless written documentation states “refund”. We will notify you once this has been completed through email.
(FIA Performance) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid/free.
Orders cancelled prior to order shipping due to processing time or inventory delay/backorder can be refunded less the credit card processing fees we pay which can range from 2.9% for standard credit cards used to 5.99% if any installment payment plan was executed. We do our best to keep our inventory levels accurate however due to current times and inventory systems within the industry and supply chains with constant interruptions it is impossible to stay up to date. We do the best job we can in getting parts out however we can't be held financially responsible should you change your mind. The processing companies do not refund the processing fees when a order is cancelled or returned. No returns accepted over 30 days from date of delivery.
3.2 Shipping Damage Returns
FIA Performance and our suppliers ensure your orders leave our hands in perfect condition by way of proper packaging. FIA Performance can not be held liable for shipping damages should the customer attempt installation if a product is received damaged, i.e. "attempt to self fix" etc. Damaged orders will be replaced under section 3.3. If warranty / shipping damage replacement item is available when original order is received damaged and customer decides to return item for any reason after replacement is offered, please refer to section 3.1 for refund details.
3.3 Warranty Returns
FIA Performance will happily honor any valid warranty claims due to product failure or shipping damages, provided a claim is submitted within 30 days of receipt of items. Warranty over 30 days falls under product manufacturer warranty period and would need to be address with manufacturer directly with your original invoice.
Customers will be required to pre-pay the return shipping and any replacement shipping fees.
Upon return receipt of items for warranty claim, you can expect FIA Performance to process your warranty claim within 7 days.
Once warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:
(a) refund to your payment method - NOTE: Not Applicable if installation is attempted.
(b) a refund in store credit
(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)
