This 240 amp alternator for Jeep Wrangler 3.6L engines will provide a 50% increase in amperage output vs. the stock 160 amp alternator. We use pure copper, oversize diode rectifiers for outstanding durability at this output level. A higher output alternator will provide more electrical support for aftermarket accessories such as light bars, winches, coolers, air compressors, inverters, large stereos, and more!
This particular alternator utilizes the OEM length belt so no change is required unless your current belt is over 36,000 miles.
