Note: These are the "modified" version so the "halo" part of the light is lit when running lights are on, and the center part of the light is lit when brakes/turn signals are applied. For more information on the difference between the Original and Modified versions, see below.

Q: Are these C5 Halo LED Tail lights brighter than stock tail lights ? 

A: Yes, these Light Emitting Diode lights are much brighter than the stock tail lights. LEDs also last longer than traditional bulbs so you won't need to worry about these lights burning out. 

Q: What is the difference between the Original and Modified version of the C5 Halo LED Tail lights? 

A: For the original version: The entire light is lit when the running lights are turned on, and the middle portion gets brighter when the brakes/turn signals are applied. THIS IS THE VIDEO OF THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION, This is our in-house Z06 before FI Performance was born.

For the modified version: Only the "halo" portion of the light is lit when lights are turned on, then the middle portion lights up when the brakes/turn signals are applied. If lights are not turned on, then only the middle portion will light up when the brakes/turn signals are applied. (You lights must be turned on for the "halo" portion to be lit). 

Q: What is Hyper-Flash? 

A: Hyper-Flash occurs when your turn signals flash very rapidly after installing aftermarket electrical parts on your Corvette. This is caused by the lower electrical current draw of the LED parts. Hyper-Flash will usually occur if you have other LED parts installed in addition to the Halo LED Taillights.  

Hyper-Flash is usually not a problem but because it is also car specific, it is not an warrantee issue.

Q: What is covered under the Original Version's Warrantee ? 

A: Manufacturer's defects are covered for 90 days. Buyer pays for shipping defective unit(s) back. Warrantee starts when lights are delivered to original purchaser. 

IMPORTANT: Warrantee will be voided if taillight housings are opened by the customer or any other modifications to the lights (tinting, vinyl covers, etc.). 

Q: What is covered under the Modified Version's Warrantee ? 

A: Because these are modified by a third-party from the way the manufacturer intended the lights to be used, there is a 6 month repair/replace warrantee by Corvette Envy. Buyer pays for shipping defective unit(s) back. Attempts will be made to repair the light(s), only if repair is not possible will a replacement be sent. Warrantee starts when lights are delivered to original purchaser.
