Active Autowerke offers unparalleled performance software. Through careful remapping of the factory BMW DME tables, various elements such as ignition timing, fuel delivery, and part throttles are reworked to create performance gains. The Active Autowerke upgraded software is designed to operate with gasoline that has an average octane rating with full emissions to create a clean burning combustion with good AFR's all within factory specifications.

Software Purchase Options

Software Purchase Options:
When you purchase software for your N55 powered BMW, you will be required to:

1) Locate an Active Autowerke approved N55 Software Dealer and have it installed there

or

2) Remove the DME from your vehilce and ship it to us to be reflashed

or

3) Purchase a Simon 4 cable and do it yourself (follow instructions carefully).

Rear Exhaust Systems: Most rear exhaust systems are also made to order, although limited inventory may occasionally be available for immediate shipment. Resonated Midpipes & Exhaust Dump Midpipes: These configurations are custom made to order and require additional production time before shipment. Standard Midpipes: Standard non-resonated midpipes are typically kept in stock and are generally available for quicker shipment.
