They provide a guide for the gasket to remain in place while positioning the carburetor to ensure a perfect seal.PLEASE NOTE: Any Cometic Gasket Kit that is noted as "Special Order" will take approximately 2-3 weeks to produce and ship. Please plan your build accordingly as these are not sitting on a shelf at Cometic.
