Hinson Motorsports is proud to announce our HINSON C5 Corvette Short Throw Shifter for your 1997-2004 Corvette. This shifter was designed for the Corvette enthusiast who is tired of the sloppy stock shifter. Designed with an advanced handle centering mechanism that eliminates centering springs - this is the best way to shorten throws and narrow the gate distance between gears in your late model Corvette. Your Corvette short throw shifter will also never miss a gear due to shifter wear because The base is anodized aluminum with internal seals to keep the elements out of your shift box and torque tube. Our C5 shifter handle is made from hardened steel for additional strength and weight. The added weight helps smoothly row through the gears without the annoying rattling of cheaper aluminum handles.

Are you tired of the stock knob or has it just seen its better days? Hinson Motorsports gives you several options for knobs to add a personal touch to your C5. Take your pick from our Hinson Motorsports logo knobs or the GM licensed C5 crossflag knob. Our knobs are made with the highest manufacturing standards. The HINSON and GM Licensed knobs have precision inlaid logos and embeded emblems, so your knob is smooth to the touch. The logo and finish will last for years to come.
The included shifter hardware is black oxide coated grade 10. Our hardware will not rust, and the extra bolt size will also handle all the hard shifts without the fear of breaking bolts in the shifter. We use hardened 7/16" stubs to make sure the shift is delivered every time. Our competition just hopes you will not break their smaller 3/8" stubs.
