Unique to any other Dana 44 Air Lockers, RD226 is designed to meet the challenges of aluminum differential housings found on earlier models of the Grand Cherokee. Despite the shaft axle variance across the models, RD226 will accommodate both C-Clip styles and non C-Clip styles. This locking differential is relatively easy to install and offers a selectable option for vehicles with this common axle.
