Why would you need the HSP Diesel Cold Side Tube for the 2017-2019 L5P Trucks?
The factory cold side tube on the L5P is something that is worth changing. The cold side pipe while may seem like it inch�������s no big deal but having something as simple as the coldside tube changed can make all the difference. With the factory, Cold Side being a plastic failure is something that is bound to happen and you won't have any warning.
What does the HSP Diesel Cold Side Tube do differently?
The factory Cold Side on the L5p is a two piece plastic design. This is not only weak but because of that design, you have multiple failure points. The HSP Diesel L5P Cold SidePipe is made out of mandrel-bent aluminum and uses a metal adaptor and high-strength silicone boots to install. This removes those possible failure points and keeps you on the road. The HSP Diesel L5p Cold Side Tube is able to be installed with all of the factory components and no tuning is needed! This means you are able to install easily and install with no worry about any issues after the fact. With the Powder coat options that HSP Diesel offers you can clean up the engine bay and increase the reliability of the truck all at one time.

Special note
This only Fits the 2017-2019 L5P engines even though the Vin code is the same. This is due to small changes that were made in the engine bay. Please be sure you are ordering for the correct year truck.

Are HSP Diesel products compatible with my truck?
Most HSP Diesel components are designed for GM Duramax platforms (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML, L5P). Each product page lists exact year and engine compatibility. If you're not sure which Duramax engine you have, send us your VIN and we’ll gladly confirm fitment before you order.
Do HSP Diesel parts improve performance?
